Treasurer of the Board
Tim has over thirty years of diverse experience setting up, managing and directing businesses and Christian not-for-profit arts and education organizations.
Tim has recently retired from being the General Manager / Executive Director of Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat in Honeymoon Bay, British Columbia. Honeymoon Bay Lodge & Retreat was Tim’s latest project which kept his attention from 2006 to 2019. He helped design, build and manage this health and wellness centre which boasts wonderfully appointed accommodation suites; a full dining room; a complement of meeting rooms and a wellness component. Before the end of his tenure, HBL&R was gifted to Youth for Christ Canada to be used as a place for renewal, restoration and growth for their staff.
From 1996 to 2000 Tim was the Executive Director of Chemainus Theatre where he helped develop systems and policies for governing the organization. He was responsible for setting up management positions and provided coaching for key personnel. He is still currently on the Board of Directors.
In 1983 Tim co-founded Rosebud Theatre in Rosebud, Alberta and as Producer, produced over fifty main stage productions making the organization the largest regional theatre in Alberta. While there Tim also designed, developed and directed the operations of the Theatre’s 220-seat restaurant.
Co-founder and Administrative Director of Rosebud School of the Arts from 1977 to 2003 Tim developed and administered all operational and personnel functions of this fine arts college.
Throughout his career, Tim has been actively involved in community economic development and revitalization and brings a wealth of excellent inter-personal skills to the table including the ability to motivate people to reach their potential. He is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge and an accomplished musician.
Tim currently lives in Nanaimo, BC.
